Today is celebrated as mother’s day.
People all over the nation are giving gifts and praise to mothers.
Here in Pennsylvania it is a beautiful day to celebrate.
As a mother of two children, and of many ideas and relationships…
And as a daughter of two caring and nurturing individuals…
I sit here reflecting on the energy this day truly represents.
Today is more than just a day to celebrate our biological or maternal mothers.
Our Earth, the mother of us all, is blossoming and life is streaming through her.
Let us take time to celebrate her beauty, and wonder.
To give thanks to her for all she has created.
We are all mothers, women and men alike.
We all have feminine energy inside of us, that needs to be celebrated, everyday.
Let us take time to celebrate ourselves.
As it must be acknowledged, that we are all mothers.
The definition of mother is feminine, to bring up with care and affection, to give birth to
We are made up of both feminine and masculine energy within our being;
bringing those two energies into harmony is what makes us whole.
Let us celebrate our whole being.
We all bring things up with care and affection,
whether its children, a partner, a job, a home, or a project.
Let us celebrate ourselves by remembering the many things
we have brought up with amazing care and affection.
We all give birth to things…
even though women are the ones who physically give birth to a child,
men assist in that birth through their energy.
Let us celebrate the fantastic things we have given birth to…
children, ideas, dreams and goals.
Every day is a day to celebrate. When we shift our perspective from seeing only one day for one thing, towards a more encompassing view of all things at any moment…
we allow ourselves opportunities to grow in ways that we may not have expected.
When we release stereotypes and labels, and embrace the duality of our existence
we will live in harmony, with ourselves and with the earth.
I am grateful to all of those in my life who have cared for me, and shown me affection
To all of those who have assisted me in bringing things to life… Thank you <3
I wish everyone out there a beautiful day taking a moment to
reflect on and appreciate the mother within us all.
