The Other

There are times in our lives where we need the point of view of an “other”. When we are so far into our own set programming, it is vital to have an opposing force that generates the movement of energy. And once the energy is stirred…we can filter through the programming…and redirect that energy intentionally in a way that is aligned with our truth.

The only way to know when are aligned, is when you have intentionally made choices that lead you on the journey to uncover and remember your truth… and then the universe speaks to you through sycnronicities, and signs… bringing people into your life you could’ve never dreamed existed.

There is strength in the awareness that contrast is necessary for expansion, learning, growth, and manifesting a life that you are satisfied in.

Indigenous communities were great representations of this… There were ceremonies for when young men and woman reached puberty and really dived in deep to find their purpose…. though ritual and ceremony with themselves, with no distractions… with intention to know thyself more fully.. and to continue to learn about one’s self through every experience. Each having their own path and each person in the community respecting and acknowledging the other’s path.

Other Mirrors

When we are all aligned with our truth, we can assist the others in seeing their truth more clearly. We reflect their being back to the other more clearly when our mirrors are polished from within.

Let’s create a cultural dynamic where we seek out one another for our differences in a positive way. To learn and grow and support the awareness that we are all different, and possess different gifts that are vital to our ability to survive and thrive.

other

It also helps us to see one another and respect each others being. Like the total embodiment of Namaste. We are all connected.

The Currency of Crypto

I began my journey into the crypto currency world in 2017. I heard about it back in 2013, when it was $40, but I did not get involved. Though it was interesting, I didn’t feel like I had the time to get involved and learn about it.

In 2017 I began to see finance and currency a little differently. My relationship with money had been shifting from a poverty mindset, full of lack and fear…To a mindset that money is a direct representation of our personal level of trust in the abundance that the universe has waiting for us. I say waiting because everything we can imagine already exists and is simply waiting for us to tune in to the frequency of receiving it!

New Dawn

I had to really study the blockchain technology to help me feel more comfortable when setting up my first wallet or making my first purchase, or trade!

After I realized that this was a technology shift, and it was simply in the beginning stages… I began to pay more attention and feel more comfortable. I always tell my students the more you do something the easier it gets. So I created a few wallets, and purchased tokens on exchanges. These experiences really helped me to feel empowered, as I began to take back my financial sovereignty.

I truly see blockchain technology as the beginning of a new dawn. A new era in the digital and financial pillars of our time. I find it super important to also mention that the astrology of these times is one of a great financial shift.

When I realized this is a change in the structures as we know it, I dived right in to learning about this new technology. Even with the anxiety, I knew I just needed to push through and keep going.

FOMO and Anxiety

My first trade was nerve racking… do I trade now or wait for the price to go down!? What happens if I buy it now and the prices does go down!?

The first time I sent money to another wallet caused even more anxiety. What if I put the address in wrong? The coins could end up in some random wallet!

What if I lose my private key, or my private passcode? What if the app gets uninstalled or something and I can’t recover my wallet or coins?

All of these questions flooded my mind in the beginning. But the more I worked with the technology and understood how to store my information, and how to double check my work the easier it got.

The Fear Of Missing Out is totally normal at first. We have been so programmed to FEAR not having enough. Programed to keep what we have “safe.” But when the world is seen as a place of abundance, you always have enough. When we hold on to something it becomes stagnant and no longer flowing with energy. Currency is meant to flow. The current gives and takes. Now when I trade or send currency, that anxious feeling doesn’t overwhelm me…. It simply helps to remind me to slow down and be mindful.

A little goes a long way

My investment strategy has been to simply buy in. There is no need to have large sums of money before one invests. Since it is a matter of long term financial revolution… its about more than just a get rich quick strategy. This is a technology adoption, there are going to be major players in the game who will get involved to build the foundation. Like any adoption plan, there are stages… and we are in the early stages of adoption.

I have had exponential growth over the past 5 years with this awareness. My partner has spot on analysis of the market and the shift. He has researched and aligned so many data points along the way, which have assisted us in the selection of where to allocate funds.

Knowing that the universe is aligned with me has allowed me to let go of the FOMO and the poverty mindset. I have been able to overcome those programs to shift my mindset towards the flow of currency in my life.

Alignment

Currency

Aligning your mindset with one of receptivity, allows the universe to show up in the most improbable ways! We begin to allow things to unfold, rather than create resistance to receiving by putting limitations on what we wish to receive. Sometimes when we think we want one thing, it’s really just a step in the direction of the true desires we have. But sometimes we do not know that desire even exists until something else shows it to us.

Action rewards truth… when we take action on our truths the universe rewards us. When we push through even when we feel unsure, we are choosing to manifest our true desires.

Creativity is Spirituality

Art and creativity are VITAL to life.

Most adults I speak to do not see themselves as creative at all. So before we can “change the system”: we have to first realize how creativity is key to a growth mindset which is vital to true learning. This can only be done if we are actively seeking knowledge of self.

Our imagination is what we use to create our realities. So therefore creativity is spirituality. A creative person is connected to their soul and has unique ways of showcasing their spiritual connection through art and imagination. Spiritual intelligence is an all-encompassing form of intelligence.

Creativity and the use of our imaginations is the first step to everything we do, even our spirituality. When we are praying or meditating, we are using our ‘imagination” to envision our higher selves, our spirit guides, or our prayers coming into fruition. The mind’s eye sets the stage for what we draw to us in the astral realm. Our thoughts and visions of the world come from our perception which is molded and created by our choices and experiences.

Spirituality is an ongoing journey and learning experience from the inside out. Where as creativity is the ability to take that learning and apply it to our reality.

Quarantine Art Series: Birdie

Disc golf is one of my new favorites. 2015 was when I first learned about disc golf, a friend of mine at the time played in a lot of tournaments! Whenever I visit Burns Valley Herbals and Retreat I love to play! Their course is 18 holes, upper and lower level… it’s a nice workout as you go up the mountain, through the woods and then down the mountain. It’s the journey though, that really counts. The slow walks up the side of the mountain, talking with friends and taking in the beauty of the land. Feeling the earth beneath our feet, and brushing the trees bark with our fingertips as we walk through the woods. Watching the disc soar down the bright green valley. Hearing the cling of the chains as you make a birdie.

When I awoke the next day, after a 15 hole game, my body was a sweet sore. The kind that reminds you of how good it feels to use your body! Playing disc golf here is one of my most favorite things to do, and there are a lot of my favorite things to do here.  So I decided my drawing today would be of a few baskets and the fairlane.

Disc golf reminds you to stop and take a deep breath, and let go of whatever you’re holding on it. It’s through letting go at just the right moment that we are able to sore the furthest.

Art & Soul CEEQER Retreat

I am super excited to be hosting my first retreat! The Art and Soul CEEQER Retreat, Journey to the Divine I Am. July 7th-9th 2017. This is a full moon weekend as well!

My dear friend Amber and I have come together to host an art and soul retreat. Unleashing our Divine I am through art, nature and meditation.

Amber Evans will lead yoga and meditations for the three day retreat, discussing releasing old patterns and awakening our divine energy within us. We are each powerful beings capable of living the life we desire, we just have to remember how! Focusing on our intentions and the power of positive affirmations, we can manifest our desires.

I am Light, I am Human, I am Thankful

When each of us is focused on being the best version of ourselves, we help each other be the best as well. The Ojibwe say all roads are equal, no path is higher than the next. By being authentic and respecting each journey, we all shine light on each others paths.

I will be facilitating the release of things that no longer serves us through intuitive art making. We will tap into our energy and express it through a free flowing painting process. No painting experience necessary! Intuitive art comes from the heart… everything you do comes from within… the colors you chose, the shapes you make, the lines you see… everything will evolve as it should, representing your energy through your mark making.

This intuitive painting is all about the process, but will create an energetic piece for you to take home and use as a reminder of your Divine I am.

Here are few examples of some Intuitive Painting Workshops I have facilitated

The retreat will be hosted at Amethyst Retreat Center in Duncannon, Pa.  It is a beautiful location in the middle of nature. A perfect place for a full moon fire ceremony and lots of releasing and healing. There will be a nature walk, and a meditation in the labyrinth.

We would love for you to join us on this journey to our Divine. To register click here!

Journey to the Divine

“How breathtaking it is to start out on a journey into the unknown. To start off in new directions takes courage, and faith. Faith that even when there are no external signs to indicate where or how we should proceed, we are not lost.”

These paintings are dreams and visions from within, brought to life through layers of colors, lines, shapes and energy. Each painting was uncovered through a process of intuitive exploration.

Art hanging at Reiki by Rickie until the end of June, 2017

Five of these paintings reflect a journey to the Divine I AM inspired by a series of tarot cards. Each painting embodies and is attuned with the frequency of a specific tarot card.

Art is a powerful tool, not just for gratification of self-expression, but as a vehicle of personal and collective transformation.

Art is Prayer, a sacred and vital discovery of one’s own special presence in the world.  Through creation, a person illuminates and illustrates their inner being, while creating something which also stands separate.

Through exploration and experimentation each of us can shine light on our inner world, allowing us to utilize expression as a means of awakening our Divine I Am.

“The root and full practice of the arts lies in the recognition that art is power, an instrument of communion between the self and all that is important, all that is sacred.”

Peter London, No More Second Hand Art.

My art will be on display in Harrisburg at Reiki by Rickie throughout May and June of 2017. Wine and cheese reception to be held on May 22, 2017 at 6:30pm.

Traveling through Time and Space

The moment when you have to choice.
The moment when you have to decide.
That moment is the countdown to blast off.

We are in a time when we are seeing things differently and working through, what we now realize, things we are holding on to that no longer serves us on our journeys.

We are traveling.
Each of us is taking a road trip through time and space.
Each of us comes across different things along our path.
We each are touched by different variables in every experience.
No one experience will ever be the same as another.

As we travel we pass signs, land marks, people and places.
As we each travel, things come and go.

The key to growth is learning and experiencing new things.

Adaptability
Detachment

Do we stay in one place after that place has served its purpose

Take a gas station for example…
our traveling has caused us to need to stop and get gas.
We find our favorite gas station ever.
We do not want to continue traveling
Worried we might not ever get a gas station as good as this one.

So we give up our journey,
to continue to enjoy this place that we KNOW makes us feel how we like.
We give up the very thing that has gotten us to the gas station in the first place.

The journey.

If we stay attached to the gas station, we won’t need it any longer.
If we leave the gas station, we have to deal with the unknown

Life is about the journey,
About finding and experiencing all of the amazing gifts,
and learning lessons along the way.

The journey is to our self.
The journey is back to source,
The journey is uncovering who we are.

Giving Thanks

The trip to North Dakota was one of the most powerful, eye opening experiences I have ever had in my 34 years of existence. I have so much to be grateful for, so much to celebrate.

First I want to say Migwetch to all who supported the journey to North Dakota, and all who gifted donations for the water protectors at Standing Rock. You all made the trip possible, and your energy carried us through… all the thoughts and well wishes we received before we left and while we were out there really energized our hearts.

I want to thank the following friends for their generosity, love and support for the trip by sharing their amazing businesses. Some shared their space and hosted events that benefited the journey, as long with others who shared the journey their clients, customers and friends. I am so blessed to know so many amazing entrepreneurs!

The universe placed you in my life for so many beautiful reasons… this journey was only the beginning to an amazing friendship. You have always been one of the best friend a girl could ask for, and now you’re   even more like a sister to me. Resting in Elkhart

Boozhoo!

We began our journey eating lunch with our dear friend Niki at Grain + Verse outside of Harrisburg. They have delicious food and an awesome atmosphere. Perfect lunch before we journey west.

Our car is names Arrow… Shooting us on our journey to North Dakota. We made great time so far! 9 hours to get to Ekhart Indianna, through beautiful clouds and gusts of wind…. Into snowy sky’s that only lasted for a few hours.

We made our first major stop at the Blue Heron Service Plaza! Yes… Blue heron and no we didn’t go looking for it. I love how the universe tells us we are on the right path.

Around 12 we started getting tired so we decided to stop off and get a hotel. We drove to the next exit and it said Elkhart… Wow. If you’ve read other posts you know the Elk has been apart of the journey since the beginning. My drum and rattle are made of Elk. Again the universe said yes you’re on the right path… Take a break.

We are up now, it’s 8am, eating breakfast and preparing to head out. We are going to stop at the Indian Mounds Historic Site on the way up to Turtle Mountain Reservation.

Last night at Standing Rock front lines, water protectors were sprayed with water canons, concussion grenades, and tear gas.

The Fox22 news on Elkhart reported on it saying it was a riot. Wow. But they also mentioned that there were people collecting donations to take to the water protectors.

Sending lots of love and light to everyone at Standing Rock, and all over the world.
